The Process

Phase 1
Consultation with Client in regard to proposed terms, and strategies to secure the best possible terms and rates;
Research of each song and/or master to identify current copyright owner;
Identification of correct decision maker at the publisher;
Negotiation of fees and terms;
Prepare and update periodic status reports for Client; and
Communicate to Client in regard to any issues requiring your consideration or approval.

Phase 2
(starts after quotes are secured)
Prepare and transmit letters requesting licenses;
Review licenses provided by licensors;
Prepare license agreements for licensors who do not provide licenses;
Send licenses to client for signature and payment;
Administer payments to the licensors;
Secure fully executed agreements; and
Deliver signed licenses to Client.
